About
Our History

Optimising content to build organic traffic has always been hard work. Query Hunter was launched in 2023 by Joe Davies, Marcus Reidy and Warren Bickley to make it easy to optimise content and grow traffic from existing pages. It started as a simple WordPress plugin that helped content writes see exactly where the gaps in their content versus search intent were. Query Hunter was so easy to use and so effective that it quickly went viral, being adopted as part of their marketing stack by SEO and marketing experts around the world.
Building on this early success the team evolved Query Hunter into the Spindrift SEO product suite. Spindrift is now a web app, Chrome extension and WordPress plugin, all built to help teams optimise content effectively at scale. Since then, thousands of businesses and agencies have used Spindrift and Query Hunter to improve performance and grow organic traffic. Some of the world’s biggest brands, including IKEA and Volkswagen, use Spindrift because it delivers incredible results.
Spindrift is growing rapidly and aims to remain the #1 comprehensive, secure and easy to use suite of content optimisation tools in the content marketing industry.
